Vietz, Ferdinand Bernhard (1772-1815)

These prints are from “Ususque Descriptione Oder Abbildungen Aller Medizinisch Okonomisch Technologischen Gewachse”, published in Vienna, 1809. Vietz was inspired by medicinal motives to produce this work. Each plate in this work is representing a botanical image of plants that were used by physicians at that time, and many of which are still used today.
