Newhouse, C.B, (1805-1877)

Newhouse is best known for the Roadster’s Album. He was an artist who confined himself almost exclusively to scenes of mail and stage coaching, as well as sport driving. His images typically portray the speed associated with the open road, and the calamity or comedy that speed can bring about.
